When I was little I had an almost Leave it to Beaver view of marriage, my hubby would come home from work and bring flowers just because he loved me and I would have dinner ready for him.
Well fast forward to the real world, I am married to a firefighter who works 24 hour shifts and come home from work at 8 am. I never really get flowers unless I remind hubby that its been quite a while. Last week I even sent him a picture of the last flowers I received as a little reminder that it had been a while. I was sad yesterday when I threw out my roses that I had requested. This morning though he totally surprised me. I barely managed a hello in my sleepy state but he managed to wake me right up when he showed me my surprise...
He really is a great husband!

She has been so much better though since we started walking her. I have been really bad about it but Hubby has been the one to remind me everyday!

Before I came in the army I was in nursing school and worked a a PD/FD... Firemen are up there on my list of heros, since I've seen what they do first hand.. ride alongs, dispatch, working with them.. Thank you for his service. :)
