Today

Wow, I am just having one of those days where you spend all day waiting for your day to start... It is now 5pm and aside from making sure all the dirty laundry has been put in the correct hamper I have accomplished absolutely nothing. I think it is from 4 full days with my husband his first day back at work seems to lack something, especially if it is a lazy Sunday.
I also found out another friend is pregnant. It is so weird how much that happy news can affect you.

We had a blast last night at the Colorado Mammoth game though. I had gotten holiday tickets for my Hubby as a Christmas present. We took the light rail (train) downtown and had a great dinner as well!

Denver at dusk

Waiting for our table

Terrible lighting

No wonder he had trouble finding jeans. You know if you stopped working out so much that wouldn't be a problem anymore.

They didn't play so great but there were some great fights.

Nose bleed seats but super cheap and fun!

downtown Denver is so pretty. I was there last January and was near where that picture is with the trees all light up. I thought it was so pretty and so clean. Very different than Baltimore

When I was 12, I visited an Aunt and Uncle who live in Aurora. I remember we went out to dinner, got hot cocoa and walked around downtown Denver the rest of the evening. Something I've never been able to forget was seeing a cluster of cardboard boxes which 'housed' about 20 homeless people. I also saw an older man who lived out a grocery cart.
I grew up in a sheltered small town, so seeing people in that situation for the first time really left an impression on me. It made me more appreciative of the blessings I have.
