I realized that I didn't have any appropriate clothes or a resume for my interview Monday. I guess that's what happens when you weren't actually looking for a job but are called to come in for an interview! I was luckily able to find some great things today though. I picked up some button downs from J Crew as well as 2 pairs of nice slacks. One pair is black pinstripe and the other is a brown and off white plaid, they look like 70's golf pants but they are cute with the right top and brown boots. For $14 for J Crew pants I was excited!
I was also in luck because a friend forwarded me her resume so I just used her formatting and filled in my info!

Please keep me in your prayers. I am not asking to get the job but for guidance.
Working full time 9-5 would be a huge adjustment for our marriage and just life in general.
Also what do you girls who work all day do with your dogs?

I'll be praying for you and that God will give you guidance. I hate job interviews...ugh...but I'm sure you will do good! We used to have a boxer doggy and we just left him out all day and then put him in his kennel at night, but he was a big dog...if we left him inside I wouldn't have any furniture left!
Good luck with the interview, I leave my dog inside away from shoes and go home at lunch to check on him!
Good luck with your interview. Remember you 're interviewing them too! Also, our dogs stay in a kennel while we're gone.
Good Luck Lauren!! I know you will do just fine, and I hope everything goes well.
I have an awesome boss who loves my dog, probably more than anything, and I get to take my dog to work with me everyday!! He actually told me it's a requirement now, because Ernie brings such a fun energy to the office. So he is an office dog now!
sometimes i leave my two terrors out...sometimes it goes well, others not so well.
going potty isnt an issue for us but they tend to rip things up.
so when im worried about something getting ripped to shreds...i put the gate up and leave them to rome the kitchen. [no magazines, flowers, candy dishes or text books to tear into.]
Good luck with the interview and with you decisions ahead!
We are lucky that we can leave ours outside in the yard during the day, because they love it. Days where they have to stay inside, we kennel one of them because he tends to chew up things, and the others get to stay out. They usually sleep the whole day! But the hubs does get to go home at lunch to let them out.. so that helps..
Good luck on your interview!! I love the new blog look by the way!
We are lucky enough to take our dog to my parents house every morning before work for what we call "doggy daycare". There are some places out there that do have doggy daycare services. The place we leave our dog when we go out of town does doggy daycare for $10/day.
GOOD LUCK!
We gate Preppy Pug in the kitchen. He does just fine in there all day :)
When we lived in an apt. I used a child's gate and shut him in the kitchen. Now I just let him roam our house, but I shut all the bedroom doors. Nuts likes to get under the covers on the bed. He does fine. And we crate him at night. I think that they get used to whatever situation they are in. So if you decide to crate during the day I'm sure he will eventually get used to it. GOOD LUCK!!!
Thinking of you...
Good luck on your interview!!!
My dogs stay at home, the mini schnauzer roams free but baby Pug is gated in kitchen because he is only 9 weeks and much easier to clean up "accidents" in there.
Our dog was crated as a puppy and I would go home at lunch to let her out, feed and play with her. Now, she is fine on her own at home while I am at work. We keep her inside--I like that my 80 pound security system is on duty inside the house and not outside. We are blessed that she is not destructive and that she was easy to housetrain.
I know that they have doggy daycare places and that there are dog-walkers you can hire to look in on your doggy for you while you are at work.
Prayers your way! Luckily I live close enough to work that I can scoot over during lunch (on the days I don't go to the gym) to let the fluffy girl out for a quick tinkle trip and quick run around the yard or walk around the block.
I hope the interview is going well or went well! As for our dog, I am fortunate enough to live about a mile from my job, so I go home everyday for lunch. We do keep our pooch in a kennel during the day though, and she can hold it while I'm at work if I can't come for lunch. Lucky for her she doesn't have to often :)
Good luck!
We crate our dogs while we're at work. We've tried leaving them out, but the Fluffy One gets cranky if he's not in a confined space.
