Remember these bulbs from just a week ago?
They have already bloomed and are gorgeous! I love how they bring spring to my kitchen!
Costco may still be selling them if you like them.

I unpacked my easter decorations today!
I had such a hard time at Christmas filling my canisters that are above my cabinets, you can see them in the picture above. I had much more luck today filling them for spring.

I used this decoration to fill one, I didn't really have room for it anywhere else. I think it looks nice in it.
The other two are filled with eggs I got last year.
I also picked this up for 75% off after Easter.

I have a question for all you domestic goddesses out there! How do you keep your places clean?
I seem to make great headway and get our place 95% clean and organized then it all goes to hell in a handbag and gets trashed again. I am not sure if it is my husband or me but we can never seem to be 100% constant with keeping our place in order. It may look somewhat clean in photos but I really need a lesson from those of you who have perfected keeping a clean house. Do you have a daily list of things you do every week or day?

Honestly you'll never get it to 100%. I try, really I do but its always a cycle of never ending work. You'll always be wearing clothes that need to be washed. Dust is always settling into cracks. Dishes are always going to be used. I'm battling the husband right now on his lack of respect for the hardwork I put into cleaning. My suggestion to you would be to make a list of things you do daily, weekly, monthly. Then split that into a daily schedule. So some days you do laundry, some days you clean a bathroom. As far as being 100% done you'll just have to clean in the nude and not eat. :) XOXO
Love the spring touches in your house!!
I try to do a room a nite to keep up! Like on Monday I do the guest room, one night the guest bath, one nite the living room, etc. They get a good cleaning that nite; dusting, vacuumming, all that jazz. We do the kitchen each nite and just pick up after ourselves. We do have to swiffer the house every nite almost because we have indoor dogs, but they're worth it! We find it's so easy to tackle one room a nite.
Plus I use my Saturday afternoons to pick up what I slacked on during the week =)
OHMY! i am the same way! I will be checking back for pointers! love love love the easter decorations! i want some but no place around here sells cute things like that.
I love your flowers!! Beautiful!!
Love. Love. Love. your flowers -- I'll be getting some :)
Cleaning? Ugh. You should read my "Dust If You Must" post -- HA!
The flowers looks gorgeous!! Oh and I love that Easter Cross!
love the flowers and cute decorations!
love the bulbs! so pretty :) As far as cleaning - I will need to read up on those tips too!
I have a daily "cheat clean" which consists of vaccuming the house and all area rugs (I only have one story and mostly wood floors mind you), wiping down all surfaces, cleaning all mirrors and "hiding" clutter (think papers, clothes, misc. items). Usually once per weekend I actually find proper homes for the hidden items, clean the bathroom, sweep under oven, fridge, etc. A bonus for me? I clean like crazy when I get stressed...which seems to be often ;) Love your cute decorations as well!
very cute!!!!
Your flowers look so good! And of course I love those jars...I too find it hard to decide what to put in those things...usually it's candy!ahhh!!! I can give you some advice on cameras. I have a Nikon D80, which is now the Nikon D90. I've loved having it and over time I've been able to collect different lenses for it! It's so much fun! I would recommend a Nikon D40 for you if you wanted a nice camera on a budget. just google "Nikon D40"

Those bulbs are unbelievable!! Amazing that they grew so quickly!
You can NEVER have the house completely clean so don't stress out over it! Keep it as clean as you can and enjoy your free time while NOT cleaning the house!
Love your flowers! Hopefully next year (after our wedding and new home owners) I will be able to do things like that too! As far as keeping a house clean, just make a system that works for you. I try and keep the most lived in areas (kitchen, bedroom) as clean as possible but then deep clean everythingin one day because once I start cleaning one thing it always leads me to another. I used to have a friend who would "power clean" and do everything she could in 1 hour. After that hour was up she would stop, and anything not done just had to wait til next time. She did this about 2-3 times a week and loved it.
Please share if you get any great tips on cleaning. we are horrible about that. We'll get ours in order and then it goes to hell in a hand basket. It's hard to get it together. We're doing well to get it picked up and keep it straight let alone keep it CLEAN!
My home is NEVER 100%, but, I try to keep it as close as it gets. I try to always do the dishes after dinner and I try to vaccum after work one weeknight and then on Saturday or Sunday, and sweep after work as well--it can feel overwhelming, but, the more often I do Chore X (whatever X is) the quicker it gets done rather than if I don't do it that often...
Love your Easter decor--it's my favorite holiday to decorate for! And saw that you're interviewing for a job--that's great, sending good thoughts your way!
