Girls night

This weekend I had a fabulous girls night. No girls night right now is complete without Sex & the City II, dresses and cocktails!
We all got ready together and my friends house so I let my friend do my makeup and hair. My hair hardly holds curl so it is funny to see it so curly. (The ribbon on my dress had come undone and I hadn't realized it.)
We had a great time and stayed up till after 4 talking. I actually really enjoyed the movie and could really relate to Carrie and her marriage. I am so happy with my husband but at times our idea of what to do for the evening can be very different. It was just interesting to see someone else talk about that. Speaking of my husband though he was such a great sport yesterday when we attended the engagement party of one of my bridesmaids. I wasn't really sure what to expect, it ended up being a ton of single girls I knew a little in high school all sitting around for a couple of hours. It was fun and I'm glad we went but my husband wasn't really a part of the girl talk. He was so great though and just let me talk and hang out even though he was so out of place.

Have a great Memorial Day, I'm off to the pool and then my mom and I are going to see the movie Babies this afternoon since my husband is working.
