My day with my goddaughter

I got to spend a few hours with my 3 year old goddaughter, Sydney. We picked her up from school so her mom could have some time off. Sydney's father passed away from lung cancer a few months ago.

She loves my husband! She was jumping up and down in the window when she saw he was also there to pick her up.

We took Sydney to pick out a Willow Tree angel as an early birthday present after lunch. She asks to look at mine every time she is at my house.
We even went to my Grandma's and pulled out my American Girl Dolls so they could have a tea party with her new one.
She was watching Maddie with the binoculars. She is so funny!

We also went and picked up a new scale yesterday since my other one never seemed to be consistent. Our new one is about 5 lbs heavier than the last one was reading at. It is frustrating but I guess it is better to have an accurate scale that I can could on especially for figuring out how many calories to eat.

what cute pictures! I'm about to throw my scale out. It is reading 6lbs heavier than my husband's new fancy one. And my husband's scale matches the one at the gym. Super frustrating no matter what though.
