An unusual seat

Every summer during 4th of July weekend there is a huge arts festival in Denver called the Cherry Creek Arts Festival. Every year I enjoy strolling around looking at all the different booths filled with different mediums of art. This year I came across a booth that normally wouldn't draw my attention if it weren't for one unusual item...

A rocking chair for rocking a baby, with a basinet attached. I thought it was so unusual and different even if I couldn't imagine ever actually using it.

I also just came across this when I pulled up the website to show you a picture. It's called the courting bench.
Wouldn't it also make a funny time out chair for fighting siblings.
The web site is http://colonialchaircompanyofdenver.com/default.htm if you are interested.

The second chair was all over the resort on our honeymoon! I thought it was a cute lovebird gesture! :)

My aunt has a courting chair in her formal living room and I have seen the bassinet+rocker. Must be those antique collecting family members! :-) I love them both...so unique

I think the rocking chair could be fun to use. The courting chair not so much. But it would be quite a conversation piece.
