As I show my husband the great deals I found yesterday at J Crew I start to think about what other things I could get for the same price. The $7 white trousers are about the same price as a Chipotle burrito. The fabulous teal silk $70 skirt I got for $10 is the same price as a cheap bottle of wine. My beach themed necklace is so fun and I know it will be me more joy in the long run than a $12 meal out.

Would you rather have new clothes or food?
I am not talking about a nice dinner out but just an average quick meal.

Clothes for sure!! The last a lot longer than that delicious Chipotle burrito.
you bring up a good point, but I would definitely rather buy new clothes than food. One reason being you eat the food and enjoy it for a short time, then it's gone, but you can have the clothes to enjoy for a much longer time
Much rather have the clothes. Most of the time, I figure that I can make something better at home than a quick bite out.
Definitely clothes. I don't mean to be such a material girl, but I love tangible things I get to keep and enjoy more than once (theoretically)! My friend and I were once famous for measuring everything in how many pairs of jeans it would amount to. I believe we once denied ourselves some furniture in this quest.
Definitely clothes... but then again I do have a problem when it comes to food - I will drop whatever it takes on food to make a delicious meal for Mr. H!
I agree, clothes!
I never thought about it that way before! :)
Clothes for sure!
clothes! I'll pack a sandwich or bagel for a few days so I can have that new pair of shoes :)
hmmm clothes!! eating me just makes me chubby! haha
clothes most def. I'm okay with being hungry =)
New clothes for sure!
Clothes, hands down. :) They last a lot longer than a burger!
I'd eat the clothes and eat toast with butter for weeks on end, if push came to shove. I'm just saying.
definitely clothes! i do love me some food but clothes last so much longer=)!
Oh, no brainer--the clothes! Especially with the great deals you found--SCORE!
