Along with biking I've also started running again. I am taking it super slow though for two reasons...
#1 I am not in running shape. I grew up as a swimmer and taught myself to run a 5K two years ago.
#2 I got these crazy barefoot running shoes...
They are the ugliest thing I own but I'm loving them! My form improved the minute that I put them on! I believe that the reason I was not a runner was because of the way that tennis shoes hurt my natural stride. When researching them I saw many places that stated as shoe technology "improves" so does the number of running injuries each year.
What do you think? Would you ever try running in them?

Ooh they look crazy!! I did a 5K run a few weeks ago (I taught myself to do it also..) and tennis shoes were killing my feet so I bought some proper running shoes. I saw those ones in the shop but wasn't brave enough to try them. I have since met other people who have bought them and been running with them and they say they are brilliant so I reckon you have chosen well!
